OBJECTIVES

To familiarize ourselves with several works this Nobel-prize winning American author, and suggest in what ways they contribute to the tradition of literature?American, black, and female. Writings will include The Bluest Eye (1970), Sula (1973), Beloved (1987), and Love (2003). We will also read criticism.
