Anotace
Středověká literatura Tento přehledový kurs se pomocí drobných textových analýz pokouší zkoumat literaturu jako produkt středověkého myšlení. Vybrané texty budou k dispozici v originále (opatřeny poznámkovým aparátem) a zejména v případě staroanglické literatury i v překladu. Četba se zaměří na ústřední problémy středověké literatury:
1. postavení (literárního) textu v raném a vrcholném středověku;
2. vzájemný vztah mezi ústní (domácí) a písemnou (latinskou) tradicí;
3. pojetí žánru; vývoj žánrů a jejich vzájemné vztahy;
4. středověká anglická literatura v evropském kontextu.
