NOTE
All Literary Translation seminars (their number will be specified before the beginning of each semester) may be incorporated into Special Programmes English Literature, American Literature, English Language and Linguistics and Irish Studies. For more detailed information consult the instructor or the directors of the respective programmes.
OBJECTIVES
The aim of these seminars is to introduce their participants into the basic problems of the theory and practice of translating literary texts (belles-lettres). For more detailed information consult individual lecturers.
ASSESSMENT
Credit based on the student?s attendance and active participation in the seminar sessions and an acceptable credit translation (approx. 5 pages).
