PhDr. Petr Novotný, Ph.D. LS 2/-, povinně volitelný předmět (Spring semester, compulsory elective course open to all Erasmus+ students) Zk / 4 kredity (Examination / 4 credits) The goal of the course is to obtain knowledge about the concept, system and methods of supporting workplace learning at the level of individuals, professional communities and organizations; to understand models of workplace learning, its curriculum and application in organizational procedures as well as the necessity to mediate and facilitate learning processes. Attention is also paid to the ways learning processes are determined by management of and leadership in working and organizational processes. Course Contents:
1. Workplace as a place for learning, typical workplace in a postindustrial era, context of beginnings of a concept of workplace learning
2. Learning in the workplace, learning for the workplace, vocational education
3. Learning for the workplace (theory, models, methods of support)
4. Communities of vocational learning (theory, models, methods of support)
5. Organizational learning (theory, models, methods of support)
6. Knowledge creation and transfer; innovative processes and learning for the workplace
7. Reflective practice (theory, models, methods of support)
8. Expert knowledge and work; learning of professional knowledge and skills
9. Work organization, strategic leadership and management and learning for the workplace; organizational culture and culture of the workplace
10. Curriculum models and learning in the workplace
11. Groups, teams and learning in the workplace; group dynamics
12. Dysfunctions in learning for the workplace, clashes of learning cycles
