Presentations and evaluation of the course.
The course provides an overview of different subdisciplines within onomastics (e.g. toponyms, anthroponyms, commercial names, etc.) and also the possibilities of interdisciplinary outreach of name research (digital humanities, archaeology, translation, etc.). The individual topics will be adjusted according to the students’ culture, language background and interests).
