Annotation
The lecture is devoted to theoretical issues related to the acquisition, learning and use of a second language and research methods used by researchers in its investigation. After completing course, students will be familiar with the basic concepts of language acquisition, the main theories of language acquisition with an emphasis on their relevance for understanding the processes of second language acquisition and, to some extent, language teaching, the main approaches and research tools available to the researcher for the study of language acquisition.
