Annotation
The course introduces basic notions of Czech lexicology and lexicography. It will focus on lexical semantics, figurative expressions, expressivity, phraseology and structure, development and differentiation of the lexicon. The seminars will expand on the basic notions from the lectures by discussion of linguistic texts and analysis of authentic Czech language.
Repeated enrollment in the course is allowed.
Final test may be repeated once.
