Syllabus
Tematické okruhy:
1. Styl a stylistika. Teorie funkčních stylů.
2. Slohotvorní činitelé. Mluvenost a psanost.
3. Slohová charakteristika jazykových prostředků. Prostředky neutrální a stylově příznakové.
4. Funkční styly (běžně dorozumívací, administrativní, učební, odborný, publicistický, umělecký).
5. Metodologie stylistiky.
Annotation
The seminar focuses on core topics in Czech stylistics. It systematizes the knowledge of basic notions and emphasizes their practical use in analyses of texts belonging to different functional styles (everyday communication, administrative texts, academic texts, media communication, fiction). The goal of the seminar is to increase the awareness of stylistic characteristics of current Czech language and to take them into account while reading and writing different types of texts.
Repeated enrollment of the course is allowed. Final test can be repeated.
