Annotation

The course is aimed at improving listening and communication skills in German. Students will work with authentic audio-visual materials and get the opportunity to develop their communication skills through interactive exercises. Emphasis will be placed on practical application of German in real-life situations and discussion of current topics.

The course is approximately aimed at the B2 SERR language level and follows the lines of the

European Framework of Reference for Languages at B2 level: "The user is able to understand the main meanings of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics; he/she also understands professional discussions in his/her field. He or she can communicate spontaneously and fluently, so that normal conversation with a native speaker on both sides is possible without much effort.

He can express himself clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics; he can take a position on current issues and state the pros and cons of different solutions."
