Annotation
The course provides an introduction to German-language literature and culture in the Czech lands with a focus on the ‘Kafka generation’ (ca. 1895-1938). In addition to writers and literary texts, important social, political and religious contexts, cultural phenomena and institutions, architects and artist groups are presented and discussed.
