Annotation

The subject is a continuation of the previous course Practical Language I. It is a practical exercise of selected language phenomena with a very brief introductory explanation of the theory.

In this course, attention is paid mainly to phenomena related to verbs. The content of the exercise is mainly verb conjugation and verb syntactic phenomena with a focus on problematic areas, e.g. the use of auxiliary verbs in the perfect tense, forms of strong verbs, verb syntactic links, functional verb links, etc.

The seminar also includes practical exercises on translation. In the course, there is not only the systematization of the morphology of verbs and the verbal lexicon, but also the training of communicative skills with special attention to selected verb phenomena in German.
