Practical Language Course - Danish VI

Annotation

In this course we will practice listening to, speaking, reading, and writing Danish on level B2.

Central elements of the course will be: analysis of literary texts oral presentations connected to the literature we read linguistic correctness (we will go through common mistakes and practice in order to avoid them) written assignments in class (focus on linguistic correctness)

Aim of the course

- further development of active vocabulary

- becoming better at writing flawless texts in Danish

- ability to express oneself and participate actively in a conversation

- ability to make a presentation on a specific theme

- ability to analyse Danish sentences in a context

Organisation of classes

Homework for tuesday is reading and analysing a literary text. During class we analyse and interpret the text. Furthermore every tuesday one student will make a presentation on the author of the text read.

Thursday's class will consist of: 1) Presentation of a common mistake made by students (by Morten) 2) Written assignments. We will write smaller assignments in class. They will aim to practice how to avoid the linguistic mistake presented earlier.
