Annotation
Urban Anthropology examines the development, establishment, key theoretical concepts of and research in social and cultural anthropology of the city. Emphasis will be put on the question of the (social) production of urban
(social) space under different political-economic regimes and on the processes of marginalisation and segregation. Key concepts of urban anthropology of the city and in the city as well as important cases will be introduced.
