Annotation
This course focuses on modern Russian history, from the early 20th century to the present. It is intended not only for students of history, but for anyone interested in Russian history. The prerequisite for participation in the course is an active knowledge of the Russian language at the B1 level. In this course we will work with texts on Russian history taken from the historical, journalistic and linguistic works of historians, linguists and writers. We will work with topics related to the current situation in Ukraine and Russia, as well as topics related to historical events preceding this situation.
