The course is intended for students of all cycles and disciplines, for Erasmus and other programs´ students, as for Czech students. The course combines lectures, presentations by students, film projections, text readings and discussions around the topic of the Night activities in Czechoslovakia after the WWII. The course is focused especially on the period 1945 – 1960 (between the end of the war and the institution of the “Socialist constitution” of July 1960), the period of the establishment and stabilization of the socialist dictatorship. I possible, the topic is put in the central and eastern European context.

The language of course is English, eventual communication in German, French and Czech is also accepted.
