Annotation
Students will learn about the basic processes associated with collecting, processing, storing and organizing the library collection. The aim of the course is to present how the network of Czech libraries is organized, what is the influence of legislation on the activities of libraries, and to further explain the principles of document acquisition and the methods of building, organizing and protecting the library collection.
We will focus on the different types of services provided in libraries and the assessment of service quality.
