Annotation
The course is taught in the school year 2023/2024
The aim of the course is to introduce the basic forms of knowledge representation and methods of their effective processing. In particular, the construction of decision trees from data, rule-based knowledge bases, uncertainty handling, and some other forms of knowledge representation. The course will also include an introduction to selected paradigms of information science and an expanding overview of the field of LIS.
Attestation will be given based on the results of solving assigned problems related to decision trees, as well as developing and/or presenting papers or frequency analyses.
