The aim of the seminar is to provide students with an interactive training of effective presentation techniques. By the end of the course, students will be able:

• to distinguish basic types of presentations and their typical characteristics

• to understand differences in structuralization of information based on presentation type and target group

• to comprehend principles of visual composition of information

• to use various technical media convenient for particular presentation type and purpose

• to apply useful verbal and non-verbal presentation techniques

Next to the theoretical part, a practical training of the acquired skills will be a major part of the seminar. During these practical trainings, the students will try to apply the acquired skills and prepare and present their own presentations. These presentations will be shot on a camera and than analyzed in a form of common feedback.

Students are encouraged to use their own notebook for preparation of their presentations - at least 1 per couple. If not possible, students must inform the tutor in advance.

The seminar will take place on 5-6th January 2012, at Jinonice, room 2017 from 9.00 am to 17.00 pm. The condition of getting the credit is a full and active participation in the seminar, without any absence.
