Anotace

The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with the historical and current changes in the political development of South East Europe. The main emphasis is on the changes and specifics of political systems, even in confrontation with Czech (Czechoslovak) traditions. The subject therefore has a strong political science dimension.

An important role is also played by clarifying the differences that exist in the Balkan countries between the declared political system and the real situation, which is often different, if not the opposite. The seminar focuses mainly on the 20th and 21st centuries with an explanation of historical sources during the Turkish (or Austrian or Austro-

Hungarian) domination of older times.

ONLY FOR STUDENTS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF SOUTH SLAVIC AND BALKAN STUDIES!!!
