The seminar will focus on the Internet as a source of linguistic data. We will focus on the development and current state of Internet linguistics (both Czech and foreign), linguistic aspects of Internet communication (on websites and social networks), working with web corpora, and methods of data mining.
In the discussion of the selected texts, we will reveal the breadth of possibilities of using the Internet for (not only) linguistic analysis.
