Annotation
Kurz je dvousemestrální. V prvním (zimním) semestru se studenti na přednáškách seznámí s teoriemi evropské integrace, s historickým vývojem poválečného integračního procesu, s institucionální strukturou Evropských společenství/Evropské unie a následně i s nejdůležitějšími politikami EU.
Ve druhém (letním) semestru se na seminářích diskutuje o zadaných textech vztahujících se k tématům probraným v předcházejícím semestru. Cílem kurzu je umožnit studentům pochopit základní příčiny a dynamiku evropské integrace a porozumět principům fungování EU. Účelem není vyčerpávající popis, nýbrž vytvoření referenčního rámce vedoucího k vlastnímu chápání procesů evropské integrace.
To se děje na základě českých i anglických studijních textů a odborných publikací. Kurz je především ve své druhé části interaktivní a flexibilně zohledňuje nová relevantní témata.
Krom toho studentům nabízí nejnovější poznatky z oboru evropských studií a analýzy aktuálních evropských událostí v kontextu EU i ČR.
