Basic paradigms of personality theories, introduction to the issue of personality structure and dynamics.

Biological determinants of personality, contemporary ideas, and the relationship between personality characteristics and biological correlates.

Social and trait theories of personality, basic ideas about the structure and dynamics of nature in trait theories.

Abilities. Defining capabilities. The essence of Abilities. The relationship between innate and acquired. Aptitude, aptitude, and talent.

Issues of intelligence and creativity. Cognitive style. Conditions and determinants of developing abilities.

Motivational systems and personality tendencies. Motivational systems. The basic theory of motivation.

Development and personality development. The role of internal and external factors in personality development. The essence and nature of the process of socialization and individualization of personality. The relationship between the general and the unique in the conditions, assumptions, and process of character and personality development.

Personality in challenging conditions and situations. Concept and classification of psychological burdens. Criteria and factors of integrated personality development and disintegration in situational contexts.

Individual theories of personality will be discussed during the semester, ranging from biological and psychodynamic to humanistic and cognitive to behavioral and social. The impact of all theories on current psychological practice will be emphasised.

In addition, some aspects of our behavior and experience will be discussed, as well as their personal backgrounds.
