- Main theories in stress coping and their potential to explain developmental aspects - The self-efficacy concept and developmental aspects - Prenatal factors of stress resilience - parental self-efficacy - Birth and the mothers self-efficacy during birth - Methods of measuring stress resilience - parents, children - Self-efficacy development in the age 0 - 3 years - Self-efficacy development in the age 3 - 6 years - Self-efficacy development in the age 7-12 years - Self-efficacy development in the age 12 till adulthood - Self-efficacy and resilience at adults - Self-efficacy and resilience at senior people - Group discussion with model cases and their solving

Annotation

We will talk in this course in more detail about developmental and health psychology. Our interest will be the development of stress resilience during the life span with a special focus on childhood.

Many theories tell us about main aspects of stress resilience. Just few of them explain the development of it.

Our main theoretical approach is the Self-efficacy concept and Resilience theory.
