Annotation

Teaching in this one semester course is composed in order to cover themes sandwiched between the History of Sociology on one side and Contemporary World Sociology on the other. For this reason the course doesn?t cover the topic of the sociology of the 20th century fully but it orients itself towards selected topics (chicago school, sociology of knowledge, the critical theory of the frankfurt school, phenomenology, neo-positivism, attempts at great theories, historical sociology, the critics of totalitarianism, critical rationalism).
