Handling Procrastination

Class at Faculty of Arts |
ASGV00880

Annotation

The objective of the 5 workshop meetings is to gain personal experience with selected psychological interventions designed to prevent and limit procrastination. The interventions are reflecting principles of cognitive-behavioural therapy and current knowledge in the field. We will work with „core thoughts“, self-efficacy, habits (such as usage of online social networks and smartphones). Our meetings will be rather informal and based on discussion of student experiences. Students will have the opportunity to try individual as well as group interventions, short-term as well as longer-term. At the same time, they will become designers of their own intervention.

Important: there are only 5 meetings (lasting 120 mins) during the semester:

March 6th, April 3rd, April 17th, April 24th, May 15th 2020
