Optional Galician history and culture course. The teacher is a native speaker. Classes are conducted in Galician and/or Spanish, email communication is possible in English or Spanish.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to recognise the main events in Galician history, as well as to make connections between the past and the current social and cultural situation. The course also aims to provide the student with knowledge about the Galician culture, focusing on aspects such as literature, music, popular traditions or gastronomy. 2. Manual:

Final tasks

During the course, the student will complete a task related to one of the topics. You will be provided with specifications and assessment criteria for the task.

Participation

The classes will be interactive and will require student's active participation. Taking into account the importance of the activities carried out in the class, it is recommended not to miss more than 30% of the sessions.

Final exam

The final exam will take place at the end of the semester and will cover the topics covered in the classroom.
