Syllabus
prohloubit dosavadní jazykové znalosti studentů, kvalitnější orientace při práci s odborným textem, rozvoj a prohloubení řečových dovedností a odborné slovní zásoby. K tomu se vztahuje budován í jazykové kompetence: schopnost prezentace odborného tématu a následné diskuse. Následný i zvýšit studentovu schopnost využít zahraniční literaturu a lépe se v ní orientovat.
Presenting academic topics: developing a paragraph, topic sentences, body sentences and final sentences; citations, references; argumentation, (visual aids).
How to deliver an effective presentation: establishing linking statements, main logical structure, clarity and authority of argument (avoiding plagiarism) etc.
Enlarging academic vocabulary
Discussing ideas, reporting what others say, supporting arguments.
Summing up a text, effective reading, predicting content, text cohesion
Taking notes
