Annotation

This is a one-semester course, 1 x 2 lessons per week.

The objective of this interdisciplinary course is the enhancement of the English language competence through reading of academic texts, examining visual materials and discussions related to selceted topics. The course is also focused on developing specific vocabulary, presentation skills and unleashing creativity in students.

The course is taught in the English language and thus requires B2 level of English in students. The course is suitable for regular as well as foreign (Erasmus) and doctoral students.

The aim of this seminar is to ask questions about the means by which the object opens the way to hidden emotions and see aspects of emotionality and intuition (cathartic release) linked to the theme of personal past as an acknowledged source of inspiration. There is a growing need among women artists for a connection to a wider order, for internal personal structures (grids) influencing the existential search.
