Syllabus
Program of the course: close reading and translation of selected texts, supervision of reading comprehension, critical evaluation of factual aspects.
Annotation
This is a one-semester course, 1x2 lessons per week.
The objective of the course is to practice reading and interpretation of academic texts and to master fundamental academic vocabulary.
Individual lesson focus on the factual aspect of a selected text, its historical context and the language used.
The languages used in class are both, English and Czech.
