Syllabus

Through a selection of texts and audiovisual materials, the following topics will be introduced: culture and its elements dimensions of culture communication across cultures (verbal and non-verbal) multiculturalism and the globalized world stereotypes and prejudices

Annotation

This is a one-semester course, 1 x 2 lessons per week.

The objective of the course is to develop the competences in students which are necessary for effective communication in the globalized world. It focuses on enhancing intercultural competence in students, so that they are better prepared for studies and internships abroad. The course is taught in the English language a requires intermediate (B2) level of English. The course is suitable for international as well as doctoral students.
