Annotation
The aim of the exam is to prove the receptive skill of reading comprehension.
The student demonstrates the ability to effectively work with a continuous specialised text at the B2/C1 level, using various reading techniques (orientational, detailed and selective reading).
He/she can place the text in the context of the studied field, understands the basic meaning of the text as a whole and captures specific information. He/she finds important details, attitudes and opinions of the writer in the text.
Based on the text, the student demonstrates knowledge of professional vocabulary and relevant grammatical structures.
The exam is intended only for students of the FA's field study programmes conducted in English who have it prescribed in their study plan. Please contact the examiner, regarding how to take the exam.
This course is NOT intended for incoming foreign students (in the Erasmus programme, etc.).
