Level B1/B2
In the course "Argumentieren, präsentieren, diskutieren" students will prepare and realize presentations and will focus on oral (and related) skills.
The course will focus on students' fields of study or their particular interests or wishes. The sub-skills (vocabulary, comprehension, writing, grammar, etc.) will be implicitly conveyed in the seminar and are an obvious part of it, but can be explicitly thematized at the students' request. The topics and progress of the seminar will be adapted to the needs of the students.
The seminar will take place digitally: regular seminar sessions using the Zoom platform (Mondays 8.30-10.00h), and other digital tools. A microphone and camera are essential to participate in the seminar.
There will be no regular Monday sessions during 8 - 22 November 2021 (incl.) - instead students will be given a work plan with assignments to work on during this time.
The seminar ends with a short presentation and discussion.
The course also prepares for the oral part of the B2 exam and for a study stay in German-speaking countries.
The first lesson will take place Feb. 28th.
