One-semester course.
The course is a continuation of the B1.1 course and is intended for students who have completed the B1.1 course or have the corresponding language level (A2+/B1-). To determine the level, an entrance test may be given to students who have not taken B1.1.
The course will be taught in the form of Blended Learning, i.e. a combination of face-to-face teaching (1x2 hours per week) and independent work in Moodle (1x2 hours per week). Should there be a change in the anti-pandemic measures, and the face-to-face teaching has to be transferred to the online environment, students will be informed.
The course requires home preparation.
The course will be taught using the new textbook "Poechali 2.1 (lessons 10-13) and Poechali 2.2" by S. Chernyshev. Both textbooks are available in the FF UK library (Jana Palacha Square), can be purchased on the Internet (see references) and selected parts will also be available on Moodle.
More detailed information about the course content - see the syllabus
The aim of the course is to develop communicative language competence so that a student with an initial proficiency of A2+/B1- can reach the B1 level together with home preparation in all speaking skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking).
