Syllabus
Students are acquainted with basic skills to master a technique of rowing on several types of rowing boats during the semester. They learn the right way how to control a rowing boat and how to row in a rowing crew with sculling and sweep oars.
Student who succesfully accomplish both semesters knows how to:
Row on rowing simulator inlcuding knowledge of basic rules of rowing and distinguish correct/incorrect way of rowing.
Explain rowing techniques on rowing simulator, how does the proper row pace look like, name all phases of rowing stroke and describe the most common faults.
Be able to complete the race track of 2km in proper rowing technique and how to spread the stamina through all the race.

Seznámení studentů s pohybovými aktivitami, které jsou zaměřeny na veslování. V zimním semestru veslování na veslařském trenažéru, v letním semestru veslování na Vltavě.
Předmět je koncipován jako dvousemestrální, pro přihlášení v letním semestru na Veslování II. je nutné mít absolvován ZS - Veslování I.
