Annotation
The course will consist of two parts: a) lecture, indroducing the fundamental concepts of this most influencial school of Buddhist philosphy, as well as to the life and work of the Tibetan scholar Tsong kha pa (1357-1419) b) selected reading from the the Tibetan text of the „rTsa she tik chen“, Tsong kha pa’s commentary on the the main work of the school, the „Mulamadhyamakakarika“ by Nagarjuna.
