The content of the seminar is based on actual problems of school practice that students encounter in their own teaching practice - e.g. Analysis of school failure, learning difficulties, lack of motivation, changes in performance, behavioural disorders, aggression, inappropriate behaviour in and out of school, problematic teacher-student relationships, difficulties in cooperation with parents, or problems such as anorexia, truancy, bullying, drug abuse, etc.
The course introduces students to practical solutions to the problems encountered in school practice. Through the analysis of specific case studies, the skills of pedagogical and psychological analysis, the use of pedagogical and psychological diagnostic including differential diagnostic are developed.
On this basis, ways of dealing with problematic school situations, specific pedagogical or psychological intervention and their effectiveness are identified. The course aims to cultivate teacher's sensitivity to each student and his/her needs.
