Syllabus

The structure, mechanisms and function of the immune system. Immunopathologic reactions, inflammation, basic immunologic diagnoses (immunodeficiency, autoimmune diseases, allergy), transplantations.

Clinical microbiology in association to immune dysfunctions. Diagnostic process, laboratory tests, treatment.

Annotation

Lectures and seminars in one-week block oriented to the summary of basic immunological knowledge, application of immunopathological mechanisms into different organs and systems. Differential diagnosis of immunopathological states, their laboratory tests and treatment.
