Annotation

General pathology ? explanation of basis principles and causes of cellular and tissue damage, especially necrosis, apoptosis, gangrene, atrophy, hypertrophy, metabolic disorders. Further topics will cover amyloidosis, calcification, hematogenous pigments, local circulatory disturbances, classification of acute and chronic inflammatory processes, pathomorphology of tissue changes in infectious diseases, principles of general oncology oriented towards the biology of neoplastic transformation and growth, precanceroses and classification of individual tumour types.

Organ pathology pathomorphology of the most important non-neoplastic and neoplastic diseases. Special pathology- focusing on non-neoplastic and neoplastic oral cavity diseases incl. jaws, salivary glands, and surrounding soft tissues.
