Fundamental informations from the field of genetic and use of genetic informations analyses in clinical practice.

Blocks: 1 / Basics of genetics (history, DNA, RNA, genetic code, polymorphisms); 2 / Types of genetic studies applicable for medical research; 3 / Regulatory changes to DNA, regulátory molecules, imprinting; 4 / Examples of gene – environment interactions (interaction with age, gender, smoking, ...); 5 / Use of genetic informations in nutrigenetics, pharmacogenetics and disease predictions; 6 / Genetically determined conditions important for clinic (for example lactose intolerance, celiac disease, ...); 7 / Modern genetic modifications, genetically modified food, GMO drug production.
