Syllabus
The internships take place: The internship sites: Departments of the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady and other Prague hospitals.
Times for bedside teaching: after 1.30 pm based on your selection Duration of beside lessons: 90 minutes
Subspecialty bedside lessons: block 1: weeks 1-5, block 2: weeks 6-10, block 3: weeks 11-15.
Annotation
The main task during the 5th year is to get the systematic knowledge of internal medicine in practical courses. During a patient demonstration, the students are supposed not only to improve their skills in taking patient´s history and physical examination but also interpretation of clinical and laboratory findings and therapeutical assessment.
The students are obliged to take part in patient´s admission and assist in some invasive procedures. The subject is completed by credit.
