Syllabus
1) Prevention of malignant gynaecological tumours. 2) Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of gynaecological malignant tumours.
Annotation
Single semester elective course designed for 4th year of the study.
It is divided into two parts: 1) Prevention of gynaecological maligantn tumours:
Primary prevention-prevention of precancerous changes-vaccination
Secondary prevention- detection (diagnostics)of precancerous changes-colposcopy, histology, risk factors for individual malignant diseases, treatment of precancerous changes
Tertiary prevention- monitoring of already treated malignant diseases in order to detect the recurrence of malignant disease as soon as possible. 2) The part focused on the most common histological types of malignant gynaecological tumours - the diagnostics, treatment, follow up.
