Annotation

Psychiatry I is a part of the Neurobehavioral Science I Module (alongside with neurology, neuroradiology, psychology and ENT, as well as relevant topics from anatomy, pathology, pathophysiology and pharmacology).

Psychiatry I focuses on general psychopathology and knowledge of the main groups of mental disorders (psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addictions). The course is complemented by training in interviewing patients with mental illnesses. Practice in clinical wards takes place only in the course Psychiatry II in the 5th grade.
