In the opening part the students are tought a basic anatomy and patophysiology of the regions investigated by the ENT specialization. Special emphasis is being put on the inflammatory diseases in ENT (especially of a glottis), which accounts for the most cases of the occupational inability.
An attention is being paid to the oncology, especially the early forms of tumours in ENT.
