Syllabus

Winter term (semester): lectures/practical trainings:

1. Introduction into the general anatomy, tissues, connective tissues, bone as an organ/ bones of the upper extremity

2. General arthrology/ joints of the upper extremity

3. General myology/ bones of the lower extremity

4. Skull/ skull

5. Vertebral column, ribs, sternum/ joints of the lower extremity

6. Pelvis/ connections on the pelvis

7. Muscles of the head and neck/ muscles of the upper extremity

8. Muscles of the thorax and back/ muscles of the lower extremity

9. Muscles of the abdomen and of pelvic floor/ inguinal canal

10. Topographical dissection of the upper and lower extremity Summer term (semester):

1. Respiratory system

2. Uzrogenital system

3. Digestive tract

Annotation

This discipline is a part of the Module IA - 1st year. It takes two semesters of anatomy in the first year of medical studies, and is taught in the Module IA "Structure and function of the human body".

During this time the students are introduced in winter semester into the macroscopic anatomy of the locomotor apparatus (bones, joints and muscles of the whole body), and in the Summer semester in the gross anatomy of the respiratory, urogenital and digestive tracts, and into the topographical anatomy of the upper and lower extremity.
