The discipline Anatomy and Histology deals with the structure and the basic functions of the human body. It affords the students a review on the body structure, necessary for their professional activities oriented on the prevention and protection of the health of the human being.

It represents a structural base for other theoretical as well as clinical disciplines. The target of the teaching process is a development of exact understanding on the structure and development of the individual, and support also the ability to implement the gained information into another disciplines.

The disposition of the discipline is theoretico-practical.
