Sylabus
Each two-hour lesson will consist of two parts: 1. theory - focus on primary care of the burn patient, severity assessment, patient transport, pathophysiological aspects of burn injury, the specifics of pediatric resuscitation fluids, types of i.v. solutions, emergency care for children, types of surgical procedures 2. practical - at the bedside, the operating room if possible, monitoring at the ICU, infections, hygienic and epidemiologic regimen, srugical procedures
