2.       Physiology and pathology of pain, classification of pain, pain treatment overview, pain drugs, case reports and discussion

3.       Organisation of pain treatment. Barriers to pain management. Discussion.

5.       Post-test, feedback. Credits.

The Essential Pain Management Course has been developed with the support of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists by Wayne Morriss from Christchurch, New Zealand and Roger Goucke from Perth in Australia to improve care and treatment of patients suffering from pain. Lecturers at the 3rd Medical Faculty have passed training for teaching this course by one of inventors - Dr. Morriss.

Each 2 hours lesson of the course consists of theoretical part and discussion of case reports.
