Annotation
The INCCAR intensive programme is a 2 weeks training course in complementary health care practice. The programme focuses on procedures which are not included in the regular curiculum but which represent an offer of complementary health care in certain diseases or population groups.
Apart from practical exercise theoretical background, philosophical, ethical, psychological and sociological aspects of complementary and alternative health care will be provided in order to explain the phenomenon in a broad context and with relation to evidence based medicine and nursing. An international group of participants consists of nursing or medicine students, students of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, midwifery etc.
