The Neurobehavioral Sciences - Psychiatry is a part of Neurobehavioral Science II. The content builds on the theoretical and clinical knowledge and skills acquired in the course Neurobehavioral Sciences I.

The main focus of the course is on diagnostics, the basics of treatment, and the organization of care in mental illness. The course Neurobehavioral Sciences - Psychiatry includes, in addition to seminars, clinical seminars with controlled attendance, practical training, and internships in psychiatric wards (27 units), three practices in psychopharmacology.

Teaching takes place in blocks throughout the year. The course also includes 3 lectures on current psychiatric topics once a year (in the winter semester).
