Syllabus - Examination Methods in Cardiology
Invasive cardiology, introduction - lecture. How and when indicate the invasive examination of heart and coronary arteries. Possibility of treatment.
Invasive cardiology - practical part. Students visit the cath lab and see how the examination is provided.
Nuclear cardiology. The scintigraphic methods used in cardiology.
Inherited and acquisited heart defects. Echocardiography. Heart defects, classification, clinical presentation, diagnostics. Ultrasound examination of the heart.
Basic arrhythmias, ECG. Heart rhythm and it´s disturbances, ECG basic findings of arrhythmias.
Examination methods in angiology. Diseases of peripheral veins and arteries, clinical presentation, examination methods.
